Barcelona, October 1, 2024. Worksafe, the new trade fair dedicated to safety, fire protection, and occupational safety organized by Easyfairs, will hold its first edition in Barcelona. The event will take place on October 1 and 2, 2025, at Fira Barcelona, coinciding with the second edition of Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona, the leading event in industrial innovation. During the two days of Worksafe, professionals in the sector, such as occupational safety managers, HSE technicians, or maintenance managers, among others, will be able to learn first-hand about products and services aimed at workplace safety and health, fire protection, as well as asset security and protection. Blackline Safety Europe, Grupo Bia, Gvs Spa, Prevengos (Nedatec), Sister Soft, and Testiberia are some of the companies that have already confirmed their participation. “Participating in WorkSafe is a great opportunity to showcase our product and strengthen our brand’s presence in the Catalan market,” comments Roberto Collados, Commercial Director at Prevengos. Regarding expectations, as pointed out by Daniel Villanueva, Commercial Director at GRUPO BIA INGENIERIA Y PREVENCION, S.L., they are focused on generating new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with current clients. “We decided to participate in this event because of its prestige and its ability to bring together key professionals in the sector, which we consider fundamental for the growth of our company and the expansion of our services,” Daniel commented. Thus, visitors will have access to around a hundred exhibitors offering solutions ranging from personal protective equipment, safety signage, and lighting systems to anti-slip floors and ventilation systems. Additionally, the offerings will include products related to occupational health and hygiene, such as first aid equipment, decontamination systems, and ergonomic products designed to improve quality of life in the workplace, such as chairs, specialized furniture, and air quality management systems. As for machinery safety, innovations such as automatic detection mechanisms, control and stop systems, risk assessments, and industrial barriers will be presented. On the other hand, asset and building security will also play a key role, with exhibitors showcasing anti-intrusion solutions, access control, video surveillance, perimeter security, and protection systems such as doors and fences. Advanced fire protection and prevention systems will also be presented, aimed at protecting both workers and property. Finally, the fair will also feature the WS Congress, a space designed for knowledge transfer and idea exchange through presentations and practical demonstrations. The initiative is supported by AES, the Spanish Association of Security Companies, which includes more than 150 security companies, manufacturers, engineering firms, alarm centers, fire protection, cybersecurity, among many others. “Worksafe arises in response to the growing demand for workplace safety and health solutions, a crucial aspect in today’s industrial environment. With the advancement of new technologies and stricter regulations, companies are seeking ways to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Therefore, we aim not only to offer a platform where professionals can access the latest products and services in the sector but also a space for the exchange of ideas and knowledge transfer. In a world where sustainability and workplace well-being are priorities, Worksafe positions itself as the key event for safety innovation, helping companies prepare for the challenges of the future,” says Oscar Barranco, General Manager of Easyfairs Iberia.

Worksafe and Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona, a Perfect Tandem

Worksafe will share space with the second edition of Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona, an event launched in 2023 and held biennially. Its first edition attracted more than 3,000 professionals and 166 exhibitors, generating an economic impact of 5.4 million euros in Barcelona. Also organized by Easyfairs, Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona is the leading event in industrial innovation, which includes shows like MetalBarcelona and Robomática Barcelona. The synergy between both fairs promises to offer a unique experience, focused on the main trends that are redefining the industrial ecosystem, and will give attendees the opportunity to expand their network and meet key professionals from various industrial sectors. The event is expected to generate thousands of business interactions, providing exhibiting companies and visitors with an ideal 14,000 m² environment to generate leads and boost their brands in a highly competitive market. Additionally, the presence of innovative products and technological solutions will make this fair an essential event for those looking to stay at the forefront of industrial and workplace safety transformations. The next edition of Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona is expected to grow by 30%, with 60% of the exhibition space already reserved. This growth reflects the increasing demand for innovative and sustainable solutions in the industrial sector, consolidating Advanced Manufacturing as the reference point for the industrial community in Spain and Europe.
